Aurora
Residential TV mounting across Aurora
Aurora is two building eras in one city. Near the river and downtown you get century-old houses with plaster over lath, brick chimneys and real masonry. On the far east and west sides you get subdivision construction with open wood framing and, often, a pre-wired media box behind the TV wall.
Those two jobs need different hardware, so our installers carry both — masonry bits and rated anchors alongside standard stud hardware and in-wall power kits. You do not need to know which wall you have; a photo with your quote request is enough for us to plan it.
Older homes near the river
Plaster and lath is brittle at the surface, so framing is located before anything is fastened and pilot holes are sized for old lumber.
Subdivision construction
Open wood framing fishes cleanly, so in-wall cable and recessed power are usually available.
Pre-wired media boxes
If your builder left a box behind the TV wall, we use it — that's the fastest route to a completely clean install.
Quoted before scheduling
Price comes from the TV, the wall and the wire solution, in writing, before an appointment is booked.

Brick, masonry and specialty wall installation
Aurora has more real masonry than most Fox Valley suburbs — brick exteriors, stone fireplace faces and chimney breasts that run straight through the living room. Masonry is one of the best surfaces to mount on when it's drilled properly: hammer drill, rated anchors, holes placed to respect coursing and mortar joints.
Metal studs turn up in Aurora's commercial spaces and some newer builds. There the mount plate has to span more than one stud with toggle-style hardware; drywall anchors alone never go behind a TV.
Brick and stone
Hammer-drilled and anchored into the face or joint depending on condition, with dust collected at the bit.
Plaster and lath
Common in older Aurora homes; framing located first, surface disturbance kept minimal.
Metal studs
Toggle hardware and multi-stud plates, standard in commercial and some newer residential walls.
Aurora
Samsung Frame installation
Frame TVs are increasingly common in Aurora's newer subdivisions, where the wall behind them cooperates. Installed with the slim-fit mount, the panel sits nearly flush and the only remaining problem is the One Connect box and its invisible cable — both of which we plan a home for before drilling.
On a masonry fireplace face the approach changes: the cable route is decided first, because you cannot fish a chimney breast.
Aurora
Large TV installation
Large panels are a bigger share of Aurora work every year, and they're the jobs where hardware shortcuts show up fastest. Anything past 75 inches gets a mount rated above the panel weight, anchor points across multiple studs or into masonry, and two installers on the lift.
We also check the wall for a full sweep before committing — a 98-inch TV needs clearance the wall may not actually have once trim, corners and the mantel are measured.
Aurora
Fireplace TV mounting
Fireplace mounts in Aurora split between drywall surrounds in newer homes and full brick or stone faces in older ones. Both are mountable; the mount and the wire plan differ.
Viewing height drives the recommendation. Where a mantel forces the screen high, a tilting or pull-down mount keeps the picture watchable instead of leaving you craning at it.
Aurora
Wire concealment and cable management
Where the wall allows, HDMI and low-voltage cable run inside the wall and power is relocated with a recessed in-wall kit, so nothing shows below the TV. Where it doesn't — brick chimney breasts, exterior walls, some firewalls in townhomes — a low-profile paintable channel gives a clean result without opening masonry.
Devices can be relocated to a cabinet at the same time; tell us at booking so the cable lengths are on the truck.
Aurora
Soundbar and multiple-TV installations
Soundbars are mounted level and centered under the panel with their cable in the same concealed run, not left balancing on a mantel.
Multi-TV visits — living room, basement, bedroom, garage or patio — are more efficient than separate trips. List every room and TV size on the quote request so the correct hardware and time are scheduled.
Aurora
Commercial TV installation in Aurora
We install displays for Aurora restaurants, bars, offices, retail spaces, gyms and waiting rooms. Commercial jobs are as much about sightlines and cable routing as mounting — every seat should see a screen and no cable should be reachable by a customer.
Multi-display projects can be scheduled before opening or after close so the room isn't out of service.

Pricing
TV mounting cost & pricing factors in Aurora
Every job is quoted from the TV, the wall and the wire solution before we schedule — not a flat rate that changes once we're on site.
Wall material
Brick, stone and plaster take longer than drywall over wood studs and need different anchors, which is the single biggest variable in Aurora.
TV size
Panels beyond roughly 75 inches need two installers and heavier hardware, which affects both labor and the mount.
Mount style
Fixed and tilting mounts are the simplest; full-motion arms cost more and require additional anchor points.
Wire solution
In-wall concealment with recessed power is the cleanest option; a paintable external channel is the practical choice on masonry.
Fireplace work
Mantel height, stone facing and heat exits can move the job to a pull-down mount and a surface cable route.
Multiple TVs
Several displays in one visit lowers the per-TV cost compared with separate appointments.
